Class Description

Baby Yoga – This unique class is for babies only! Learn Baby Yoga exercises to strengthen growing muscles, aid in digestion, promote better sleeping patterns, and help your infant towards their next stage of development. We will help our little ones into yoga poses and developmental exercises as we sing, dance and play! We'll make tummy time fun, work on brain development skills, as well and build strength for sitting, scooting, crawling and walking. This class is too sweet to miss! Moms, Dads and caregivers are welcome! Class is 30 minutes. (From Karma Kids Yoga)

Beat Pilates – A dance-based warm up followed by Pilates with music. No dance or Pilates experience necessary. Modifications will be offered to accommodate pregnancy, diastasic recti and injures. Please let me know if any of these apply to you. Props needed: Exercise mat + (optional) resistance band, 9” ball (a roll of paper towels is a great substitute), a chair (or anything you can hold for balance).

Core Fitness – This is a Pilates-inspired core workout. We will focus on strengthening pelvic floor and abdominal muscles. Modifications will be offered to accommodate pregnancy, diastasic recti and injures. Please let me know if any of these apply to you. Props needed: Exercise mat + (optional) resistance band, 9” ball (a roll of paper towels is a great substitute), yoga block (or a stack of books), a chair (or anything you can hold for balance).

Dance Fitness – This is a Pilates-inspired workout with music involved. We will focus on strengthening core and leg muscles. Modifications will be offered to accommodate injuries. Please let me know if this applies to you. Props needed: Exercise/Yoga mat + a chair/barre/counter (to hold for balance).

Lil' Girl Power Yoga –Join us where we focus on how to lift each other up, be an important member in the community and love ourselves for who we really are. At this age, girls desperately need a non-competitive outlet to let go of their stress and anxiety and feel great about themselves. We'll practice basic and challenging yoga poses, partner poses and group poses. We'll journal, meditate, play group games and activities for supporting each other, learn and share about ourselves and create ideas of how we can make the world a better place for all.
We'll focus on positive self-image, self-love, and kindness towards ourselves and others. And of course, being strong inside and out. Girl power! (From Karma Kids Yoga)

Mom & Baby (6 weeks - new walker) – Moms get a Postnatal Yoga class and babies get to exercise growing muscles as well as growing brains while socializing with other babies. All levels welcome.

Prenatal Pilates –  Pilates is one of the best exercises a woman can practice at any stage during pregnancy. Pilates exercises strengthen the core muscles of the abdomen, back and pelvis and help maintain a strong and healthy body throughout pregnancy. Prenatal Pilates helps maintain abdominal tone in a safe way that helps prevent or minimize "diastasis recti" (separation of the abdominal muscles that may occur during pregnancy and/or delivery). Classes are open level and beginners are welcome. Exercises can be modified throughout the pregnancy to accommodate women at all stages. Group class size is limited to ensure personalized attention. Class is 1 hour.

Prenatal Yoga – Strengthen mind, body and spirit in preparation for labor and delivery with a class designed to help expectant moms deepen their experience and enjoyment of pregnancy. Class includes yoga postures to address and relieve the common discomforts of pregnancy; relaxation techniques and breathing exercises to ease fear and anxiety; abdominal and pelvic floor toning to enhance postnatal recovery. This class is beneficial at anytime during pregnancy. All levels welcome.
